1. Roomba iRobot i3+ from iRobot EVO
The i3+ EVO is similar to its sibling the i3 EVO. They differ only in that the i3+ comes with self-emptying capabilities. This makes the i3+ an excellent option for those looking for an entirely automated, hands-free cleaning experience, but don't mind having to empty their dust bin manually when it fills up.
Both robots are proficient in removing dirt and dust particles on hard floors and carpets and are able to navigate around furniture and other obstacles. iAdapt navigation software makes a smart maps of your home to aid the i3+ in its navigation and clean up efficiently. The i3+ doesn't have the same obstacle avoidance capabilities as the i7+ or other top-rated robots we test. It may be stuck on power cords or socks, and may have trouble navigating between different surfaces, like hardwood and rug.

It's also recommended to keep the bin and filter clean so that they don't become clogged with dirt. 2. iRobot Roomba i7+
The iRobot Roomba i7+ is the most powerful model of the flagship line from iRobot and is equipped with the most recent features. It's self-charging, self-navigating, and the most crucial feature of all -- it has self-emptying bins that eliminate one of the primary sources of maintenance for any robot vacuum.
The Roomba i7+ can remember up to 10 floor plans and their names with Imprint Smart Mapping, a system that lets it create maps of rooms so that it can clean them more efficiently. It also works with the iRobot Home app to let you schedule cleaning tasks and control your robot with voice or through the app.
The i7+ is quicker and more maneuverable in our tests compared to the eufy RoboVac G30. It also cleaned large pet hair pieces from all surfaces including carpeting. Its biggest advantage over the eufy, though the dust bin is self-emptying that eliminates a major source of maintenance and reduces recurring costs.
We were also impressed by the i7+'s compatibility with Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant AI services. vacuum robot utilized these services to instruct the robot to begin, stop, or pause cleaning sessions, as well as to move around the room, and even vacuum a specific area. Connecting the i7+ to these services was simple and straightforward through the iRobot Home app. After being connected, to speak commands to the i7+ for example "Hey Alexa vacuum the master bedroom." The iRobot Home App also offers options to manage i7+ settings and monitoring the performance.

Its advanced whole-machine filter system captures allergens and expels cleaner air back into your home. The specialized head uses rigid nylon bristles that penetrate deep into carpets, and then pick up large dust or crumbs. It comes with three suction modes that can be adapted to the specific task. It swiftly switches from floor vac to handheld vacuum and back again.
This model also has a dock that charges to 100% in 3.5 hours and provides an easy access to two attachments and an wand clip. This is a huge improvement over older Dysons models, which require a lengthy charge and are difficult to store.
The main drawback of the V10 is its limited running time. As CR's tests show, its claims to run up to 60 minutes are misleading. This is a standard, not exceptional, battery-powered cordless vacuum's run time. It's still enough time to get rid of the majority of a typical-sized home, but not quite long enough to clean every area (though the second time around usually can be effective). That's not to say this model doesn't have its advantages It's lighter and more maneuverable than older cordless Dysons, and its vacuuming performance is noticeably better on carpets with low pile.
4. iRobot Roomba 694
The 694 is a standard robot vacuum that's a great option for those who don't have lots of money to invest in an expensive robot. It was able to remove all kinds of debris in our tests, and frequently went over the same area many times to ensure a thorough clean. Its flat front allows it to reach the corners and edges of walls.
Its navigation system is smart and uses iAdapt to avoid obstacles and navigate your home, but it lacks the mapping capability of more sophisticated models like our top selections, the i3+ EVO and the j7+ series. It may get stuck on phone cords or furniture and is often unable to supply power before returning to its base.
The Xiaomi Mi robot is superior in many ways over the Roomba 694 because it has fewer parts that require regular cleaning, comes with an allergen-trapping HEPA filtering system, incurs lower costs for recurring expenses and is more sophisticated in its automation capabilities and is better able to move its own. It also has a bigger dustbin and charges faster.
The eufy RoboVac X8 is superior to the Roomba 694 for a variety of purposes, as it has a longer battery life, has the ability to alter the suction power mode by hand and comes with physical boundary strips, and can be controlled by your smartphone's voice assistant. It's also more durable, has a stronger motor, and is more effective on floors with low pile and bare.
5. Samsung Jet Bot AI+
Samsung is a household name in home electronics. It's no surprise, then, that they are also among the top producers of robot vacuums and mop. Jet Bot AI+ has a cutting-edge onboard technology to navigate and avoid obstacles.
The app offers a variety of options to customize your robotic cleaner, including virtual barriers mopping water levels, behavior customization, docking frequency settings, and much more. It's easy to comprehend and user-friendly, as is the case with other Samsung devices.
In our tests, the Jet Bot AI+ performed well on hard floors, and removed 86 percent of dog hair (on carpet). However, it did not do particularly well at avoiding higher-up objects like cords or socks, which was disappointing. It's also more expensive than other models we've tested, and this could be a deterrent for some shoppers.
The app allows you to access the onboard camera of the smart vacuum. You can also set up live streaming from the robot's cleaning zone. The app makes it possible to manually steer the robot in the event of need. For instance, my living room rug has a darkly colored border that tends to make it difficult for other robots I've tested. The HRV 425BL however was able to continue to move across the border without registering the cliff. The ability to program a weekly cleaning schedule for each week is a time-saving benefit.
